Books

I’ve written a couple of things.

I can talk about iPhone photography all day and doing my podcast gives me that opportunity for a couple of hours every two weeks. But I have more to say, and although I put some of my words in blog posts on this site, I also have been putting them into books. My latest book, iPhone Photography Focusing on Macro, was released as an eBook on April 4, 2024 and I couldn’t be happier. This book took four years to complete for a variety of reasons, but it’s finally here and is now available in print, on Apple Books and on Kindle!

If you’re in Canada and the continental US and are interested in the printed version, I may have some in stock that can be purchased for $30 CDN plus mailing costs. Courier prices are far more expensive than mail. This may be faster than buying them from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Please use the Contact Page to place an order.

Reviews

I’ll post reviews here whenever someone offers one. If you’ve read any of my books and wish to submit a review, please do so via the Contact page.

If you’re fascinated by the tiny world of macro photography, you’ll love this book!

Greg McMillan has gone to great length to explain in fine detail what it takes to make eye-popping macro images with an iPhone. Greg is both a skilled technician and a careful explainer. Reading his book can save you hours and hours of failed experimentation and the accompanying disappointment. If you long to explore the tiny beautiful things in life just using your iPhone, I urge you get this book to guide you.
